As Helion experiences growth the organization is looking for qualified candidates as Field Engineers to provide onsite assistance in their respective markets. Individuals are responsible to perform the day to day activities as a field engineer at client sites as well as work with personnel based out of the Network Operations Center in Baltimore, MD to resolve outstanding issues.
Requirements
In order to be considered applicants should possess:
Previous experience (3-5yrs) as a Field Technician, Systems Engineer or role in a similar capacity.
Experience resolving technical issues on-site, remotely and via phone.
Outstanding customer service background and exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
Familiarity with network configuration and implementation; system development life cycle.
Excellent proficiency of installing, troubleshooting and maintenance of Microsoft Exchange, Server 2000/2003, Active Directory, Windows OS/XP/Vista, Office, Remote Desktop & Terminal Services.
Knowledge of Cisco technologies: network switching and routing, Pix Firewall, Call Manager, VPN & Avid VOIP
Energetic personality, great attitude, team player philosophy and ability to meet & exceed the organizations expectations.
Flexibility to travel daily around the surrounding Dallas region.
Experience in Dealership applications and software highly preferred, but not required.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving history.
Certifications and Education are not required but highly preferred.
